It is a common misconception that not all cars can be turbo. Any car can be turbocharged. How much boost you run is up to the motor. Most cars can be safely turbocharged with low boost or around 7 psi (150 kpa). The problem lies in where to fit the extra hardware. Usually, a log mount exhaust manifold can save you space and allow for a turbo to be mounted close to the motor to allow everything to fit comfortably under the hood. Using E85 fuel with your turbo will greatly increase the engines life allowing it to have cooler cylinder temperatures and reducing knock. When you add a turbo, you greatly increase the engines volume efficiency. A stand-alone ecu is recommended however a piggyback can also do the job without doing a major overhaul on your cars wiring system.

E85 fuel or %85 denatured alcohol fuel is a less dense fuel when compared to patrol oil fuel or pump gas. This means you need more of it to create the same air to fuel ratio as patrolling gas.
Will it hurt my car?
The short answer to this question is, no. The e85 fuel is a more dry fuel meaning it has less lubricating properties, however it does not hurt your car directly. It actually cleans your engine by burning up carbon deposits and eating away dirty valve deposits left by patrolling fuel.
How do I run e85 safely?
This is achieved by either tricking your ecu to add more fuel with a piggyback engine management system or switching to a standalone engine management system. A piggy back system will allow you to lengthen the pulse width of the injector, adding more fuel to compensate for the fuel density differences (1/3 approximately). A stand-alone engine management system will also do this but while allowing you to change ignition timing. Because the fuel is an alcohol, it is more forgiving when it comes to detonation. We never want the fuel to ignite until we tell it to. We can increase timing which allows for more power production per cylinder without worrying about the spark happening before we tell it to from heat build up in the combustion chamber. Being an alcohol, we do want to make sure any rubber lines are replaced with normal nylon lined fuel hosing to prevent the fuel from eating the rubber.
Oil changes are more important than what type of oil you use. Make sure that you always have the right oil, however, some oil is better than no oil. Lubrication is more important than metal on metal. Check your fluids and keep record of when these checks were done. We are human and we forget.
Maintenance on your machinery or vehicle should be priority. It has been said, either you schedule maintenance for your stuff, or it will schedule it for you. It is best to take control of when you maintain things. Make time to keep your things running right. Change on or before 5k miles. Never go beyond 5000 miles or else things you don’t want to happen will.
